Sailor Willie Gordon lost to Young Sam Langford by TKO in round 6 of 10

Langford knocked out Gordon with a left to the body in the 5th round. Gordon collapsed claiming a foul, he was carried to his dressing room, and after an examination determined the blow was fair, he returned to the ring after a fifteen minute interval. Gordon was being badly mauled in the 6th round, when his corner threw in the towel.
