Franklin bloodied Muscato's nose in the early moments of the bout. Muscato would hit Franklin with a series of right hands, that sent him reeling to the ropes and on to the canvas. Franklin rose at three, but after another big right hand from Muscato had him in trouble, the bout was stopped.
