Sailor Friedman, Chicago lightweight, defeated Benny Cohen of Orange in a twelve-round bout at the Broad A. C. here tonight. Friedman won all the way, not having any trouble at all with the local boy. Friedman closed Cohen’s left eye in the sixth round. He had Cohen groggy a number of times, but could not put over the finishing punch.
