Keeny Teran 114 lbs beat Tommy Rhett 114 lbs by TKO at 2:01 in round 4 of 10
- Date: 1951-12-18
- Location: Olympic Auditorium, Los Angeles, California, USA
- Referee: Frankie Van
Keeny Teran, 115, stopped Tommy Rhett, 114, in four rounds of their scheduled ten-rounder at the Los Angeles Olympic. Teran had been winning all the way, and his left hooks to the head and body kept Rhett on the defense most of the time, and Keeny shook him up with right chops to the jaw. Rhett was bleeding, one eye was puffed, and his mouthpiece had been knocked out when referee Frankie Van stopped the fight at 2:01 of the fourth round. This was Teran's first scheduled ten-round main event.
