Marlon Conner,178, Roxbury, added the New England heavyweight title to his claim of the light-heavyweight diadem when he won a 12 round decision over Tom McNeeley, 207, Medfield, in a bloody fight. Connor got off to an early lead, withstood McNeeley's mid- bout rally as it appeared that the 29 pound weight difference would tell, and came roaring down the stretch to take the unanimous decision. Both were staggered several times in the contest but there were no knockdowns. Both suffered several cuts.
