Charlie Cobb beat Sammy Santos by KO in round 9 of 10

Santos had the edge in the first three rounds. In the 4th round Santos hurt Cobb, but was knocked down twice; the first time for an eight-count, and the second time for one at the bell. Santos's left eye began to close in the 4th round, with his other eye swelling as well. In the 9th round, a left hook, and possibly a thumb hit Santos in the eye, and unable to see, Santos took the count. His corner threw in the towel, as he was being counted out.
