According to an article in the NY Times, Ed Tiernan was supposed to fight Johnny Liano on 12/6/26 but Tiernan faced Harry Stuckey instead that night. No reason given why that fight didn't take place. Liano's last fight listed was 11/8/26. Perhaps Liano retired from boxing not long after the 11/8 fight.
