Weber got off to a good start, taking the first two rounds. Jack shook Weber with an uppercut in the 3rd round, and had him in retreat in the 4th round. Weber fought back to hold Jack even in the 5th round. The 6th round was all Jack, as he hurt him with a left hook to the jaw and later with a left hook to the body. After the 6th round, Weber's manager Lou Visuci requested that the bout be stopped, with Weber's face now swollen.
