Jack scored knockdowns in the 3rd and 8th round, and two knockdowns in the 9th round. However, he appeared to be troubled by his old left knee injury, hobbling in the 1st round, as well as in the 8th round, when Kearns averting a fall to the canvas, grabbed the knee. Jack appeared to be in pain for the remainder of the round, as he favored the knee.
