Beau Jack 141 lbs lost to Tony Janiro 148 lbs by TKO at 1:03 in round 4 of 10
- Date: 1947-02-21
- Location: Madison Square Garden, New York, New York, USA
- Referee: Eddie Joseph
- Jack who had recently had knee surgery, was unable to continue when he dislocated his kneecap. The 20-year-old Janiro, a 2-to-1 underdog, gave the veteran a thorough trouncing before flooring him with a hard left hook to the head in the fourth. Beau had re-injured his kneecap when he was floored. This was the first time Jack was stopped in his pro career.
