Jones was making his debut in the Heavyweight division. Rademacher took the 1st and 3rd round, with long jabs and short rights to the chin. Early in the 4th, Jones shook Rademacher with a counter right to the jaw. Later in the round, a right hand floored Rademacher for a nine count. Rademacher rose on unsteady legs, and was floored again by a right hand. This time taking the count on his knees, until the bell rang at the count of six.
In the 5th, Jones floored Rademacher again with a three-punch combo. Rademacher rose again at the count of eight. Jones then landed a left hook that sent Rademacher on his way to the canvas again. As he was heading to the floor, Jones hit him with a right hand to the ear, which caused Rademacher's ear to gush blood. Holding a glove to his ear, Rademacher was counted out.
Odds: Jones 7-to-5 favorite.
