"...Choynski sent his right on Smith's jaw, bringing the latter to his knees in a groggy condition. Smith got to his feet quickly and rushing at Joe the two men clinched, when (police) Lt. Gillingham held up his hand and ordered Referee Fogarty to stop the contest, which was immediately done.."
