Romero floored Barth with a left to the chin at the beginning of the 2nd round. Barth's head hit the canvas, and he appeared out. Barth rose at the count of nine, and retreated to a corner where he was pounded on by Romero, and dropped again for a nine-count. Barth was unsteady upon rising, and the referee stopped the bout.
