Moser twice staggered Figueroa with right hands to the head in the 3rd round. Figueroa knocked Moser down near the end of the 5th round with a right hand to the head. Moser was largely on the defensive after that, and lost the 6th and 7th rounds handily. Moser staged a rally in the 8th, leading with his right hand. In the 9th round, Figueroa reasserted control, and had Moser holding on. Early in the 10th, a long right hand sent Moser down for an eight-count. A few seconds later a left hook to the head, dumped him for a third time. He appeared capable of beating the count, but the referee halted the bout.
