Albuquerque’s Joseph Brady lost to Colorado’s Andres Pacheco in a battle of unbeaten junior middleweight prospects at Sky Ute Casino in Ignacio, Colorado. Brady also lost his WBC Fecarbox junior middleweight belt after he was stopped by a body shot from Pacheco with 2:47 left in the 12th and final round. Brady dropped Pacheco in the eighth with a solid left hand, but couldn’t finish him off. Going into the 12th, two judges had it for Pacheco, 107-101 (Cordelia Sanchez) and 105-102 (Levi Martinez); the third (Esther Lopez) had it for Brady, 104-103.
