"Red O'Keefe, Albina 150-pounder, overcame two knockdowns to earn a draw with Georgie Dixon, colored Portland boy. The two battlers stood toe to toe in the last round battling in a pool of blood, most of which was Dixon's. O'Keefe fell in the first, but was up before the count started. The same thing occured in the fourth when Dixon landed a smashing right to the chin, O'Keefe regaining his feet before the count."Portland Oregonian
