Toledo staggered Pineda with a series of rights at about two minutes of the opening round. At 2:25 of the round, Toledo knocked Pineda down with a right hand. Pineda rose at seven, and was hurt as the bell rang. Pineda hurt Toledo to the body in the 2nd round. In the 5th round, Toledo hurt Pineda again with rights to the head. In the best round of the bout, both were hurt in the 6th round. Pineda controlled the 7th and 8th rounds. In the final round, Pineda dropped Toledo, his left eye now almost closed, with three lefts. Toledo rose at four, but was hit at will by Pineda, and the bout was stopped.
