Kaylor put Ross down for no-counts three times in the 1st round, but was put down twice himself before the round was over, and collapsed from exhaustion at the end of the round. Kaylor went down three more times in the 2nd round. After neither boxer was down in the 3rd round, Ross finished Kaylor with a left to the stomach.
