In Young Lee 110 lbs beat Misa Morimoto 110 lbs by SD in round 10 of 10
"In-Young Lee of South Korea, on the strength of a 10th round knockdown, pulled out a split decision victory over one tough Japanese opponent Misa 'Marvelous' Moromoto. Three judges scored the extremely close fight 95-96, 97-96, 96-95 in favor of the 32-year old Korean champion. She improved to 8-0(3KO), and her 31-year old Japanese challenger dropped to 7-2.
A day before Christmas in Korea's Yong-In Gymnasium, Lee, had trouble fighting off Moromoto's lunge and clinch style early, and fell behind. The 3rd round was especially tough as she caught Morimoto's hook in the face and appeared to be in trouble. No doubt it was the toughest fight in her career.
However, Lee composed herself, and charged back from 4th round and on, and dominated the last two rounds to eek out a win. She connected with her right hook early in the 10th round to drop Moromoto to the floor, and that appeared to be the decisive knockdown." (IFBA.com)
