Makar hurt Gordon to the body early in the 5th round. Appearing hurt, Gordon kneed Makar in the chest, leading to the referee to check if he needed to recover. Makar resumed fighting, and attacked Gordon with both hands, before knocking him out with a left hook to the chin.
