Appearing to tire in the 4th and 5th rounds, Rock found a burst of energy that allowed him to take four of the last rounds, according to the Scranton Tribune. The Tribune who favored Rock 6-4 in rounds, felt that O'Connor rushed in carelessly, allowing Rock to outscore him in the inside fighting.
