Tommy Jackson 198 lbs beat Keene Simmons 210 lbs by TKO at 1:18 in round 6 of 10
- Date: 1954-11-15
- Location: Arcadia Ballroom, Providence, Rhode Island, USA
- Referee: Sharkey Buonanno
Simmons knocked Jackson with two rights to the head in the 2nd round, though the referee ruled that Jackson had been pushed. After fighting aggressively in the first two rounds, Simmons began to tire; Jackson began to pound Simmons after this, particularly inside. The referee stopped the bout in the 6th round, though he said it was due to a cut over Simmons' right eye.
