Robleto appeared to be improved after a lay-off, as the Pasadena Post felt his punches were straighter, and his defense tight, while appearing fast and aggressive as he had been before. Wright did little after the first two rounds, with the Post giving Robleto the last six rounds. Wright did knock Robleto down with a low blow in the last round. Robleto elected to continue after being revived by his corner, and finished the bout strongly.
