"Ernie Hetherington of Winnipeg made short work of Red King of Billings in the scheduled six-round main event of a boxing show here Friday night, scoring a technical knockout in one minute and 14 seconds of the first round. King went down from a right to the jaw shortly after the opening bell, but got up after a count of four. Then Hetherington poured in another two-fisted volley and the Montanan went down again. He pulled himself up after an eight count but a towel was thrown in from his corner and the bout was over." (Bismarck Tribune)
