Rosenbloom was the aggressor in the bout, though Schoell was aggressive as well. Rosenbloom drove Schoell into a corner in the 9th round, but was hit by left and a right hook that put him to the canvas. The referee scored the bout a draw, Walsh for Schoell, and Pugh for Rosenbloom.
