Saw this bout on NBC television. Cannot account for the strange scoring system used for the bout. Czyz decisively knocked down Simms to the canvas in ring center during round 10. Simms banged angrily on the ring floor in frustration, then got up. Czyz appeared to have won at least five rounds by outworking Sims to that point, so the tenth and final round gave Bobby Czyz the victory by ten round decision with the late knockdown.
