"In a slashing ten-round fight, Charlie Miller, rugged 129-pounder of Reno, won a surprising decision over Pinta De Sa, flashy Portuguese featherweight champion. It was only the second time De Sa has been defeated in this country, Fidel La Barba of Los Angeles having taken a close decision over him recently.
