Tomboy Romero 128 lbs beat Billy Sherman 128 lbs by TKO in round 5 of 10

• Date: 1937-10-27
• Location: Coconut Grove Arena, Reno, Nevada, USA

"A cut over Sherman's left eye was judged too bad to allow him to continue. Romero was leading at the time and it was apparent that the only way Sherman could have won would have been by a knockout." (Reno Evening Gazette)
