Monk Fowler lost to Pal Moran by KO in round 1 of 15

Fowler met Moran at mid-ring to start the bout, and the two traded blows. Moran evenutally landed a good right hand to the jaw that seemed to turn the bout, and then another right hand to the same spot, that sent Fowler to the ropes. Fowler was hurt at this point, and tried to clinch, but was sent spinning by a left hand to the jaw. Trying to clinch again, Fowler was hit by a finishing right hand to the jaw.
Fowler was arrested after the bout for wife desertion.
