Ochs knocked Fleming down for an eight-count with a left hook to the chin. Another left hook knocked Fleming down and out of the ring. Fleming managed to crawl back into the ring just as the bell sounded. He was assisted to his corner, and after appearing unable to stand, it was determined that he had suffered torn ligaments and the bout was stopped.
