Collins was ahead on points, when Pasco stunned him in the 9th round with a right to the kidney. Collins was in obvious pain as Pasco chased after him without landing a punch. The referee would stop the bout after Collins went to the canvas. The ringside physician described Collins as suffering a kidney and possible rib fractures.
