Feraci outboxed Trulmans in the first two round. Feraci then caught Trulmans with a straight right to the chin in the 3rd round that sent Trulmans down for the first of five knockdowns in the 3rd round. Trulmans recovered quickly though, and won the 4th, 5th, and 6th rounds from Feraci. In the 9th round, Trulmans caught Feraci with four succesive left hooks to the jaw as he drove him around the ring. With Feraci stunned, Trulmans drove in a right hand that put Feraci down for a five count. Feraci was in bad shape when he rose, and a series of blows floored him again for the ten-count.
