Ernie Griffin beat Charley Harvey by PTS in round 10 of 10
- Date: 1943-11-16
- Location: Civic Recreation Center, Bremerton, Washington, USA
Griffin won decisively. Harvey's eye was badly cut, his nose bleeding, and his face a "mass of red welts" by the end of the bout. This is the first professional boxing card held in Bremerton in ages, and the first pro show sponsored by the Bremerton Disabled American Veterans organization. For at least the past year, the DAV Club had put on a number of amateur shows and cards with military boxers, including a few featuring heavyweight contender Frank Poreda, who was in the military at this time.
