OAKLAND This win was probably worse than a loss for Moynihan, as it condoned the tactics of brawling and using a wide open wreckless offense as your defense. Moynihan threw power shots from bell to bell and wasn't concerned with setting up any sort of technique with jabs or other strategies. Simmons was content with lasting the distance, and didn't provide much of a test for Moynihan. This fight was more like a mugging than a boxing match.
