Johnny Durso 137 lbs beat Wishy Jones 133 lbs by PTS in round 15 of 15

• Date: 1935-10-14
• Location: Columbia Gymnasium Arena, Louisville, Kentucky, USA
• Referee: Tot Wilkerson

This bout, the first 15-rounder in Kentucky since the legalization of boxing, was supposed to be for the Kentucky State lightweight title. Durso, however failed to make the 135 pound weight limit. The fight itself was terrible, compared to their well-received first battle, with neither man doing much. Durso did most of the fighting there was, while Jones lunged in and held.
