In round two, French took a hard right to the body which had him in obvious pain as the referee gave him a standing eight count. Then another shot to the body dropped him again, but the referee called it a low blow and allowed him to recover. In round four, French went down and though he beat the count, he wobbled around till he was sent down again, prompting the referee to end the fight.
