Wofford was a last-minute substitute for K.C. Truesdale. In its report on the bout, The Tennessean noted that Wofford "proved quite a showman, jiggling his massive midsection on multiple occasions....At times, he even raised his arms and dared Tubbs to punch the bulging gut." Tubbs finally dropped Wofford to one knee in the final round, but Wofford was able to regain his feet and finish the bout.
