"The main event was steaming along in a spectacular manner with little to choose between the two contestants when Lasky reached Sekyra's chin with a fairly stiff right hand. Joe staggered jut a trifle, and then Art rushed in with his best punch - damaging left hook to the jaw. Sekyra dropped to the floor unconscious. A count wasn't necessary for it was at least two minutes after the fatal ten had been toiled before the Dayton scrapper regained consciousness and got an idea what happened."
