Lloyd Marshall 162 lbs beat Teddy Yarosz 168 lbs by PTS in round 10 of 10

• Date: 1939-09-29
• Location: Civic Auditorium, San Francisco, California, USA
• Referee: Jack Downey

Yarosz was knocked down in the 10th round. The Oakland Tribune thought the worst Yarosz should have received was a draw. Harry B. Smith of the San Francisco Chronicle felt both boxers gave poor performances, with Yarosz clinching repeatedly and Marshall throwing very little. Smith felt Marshall earned the decision on the strength of the knockdown.
