This fight took place in New Bedford--it did not take place in Boston as previously shown. It was a split decision victory for Elkins per the Boston Post. The Lowell Sun reported a decision win for Elkins. Boston Globe later reported this as a New England Featherweight Title Fight. Title confirmed in Sep 10, 1921 Illustrated boxing News -- Elkins would hold title only ten days. It is not clear why the Globe reported that Elkins had won by a knockout in five.
