John Henry Lewis 178 lbs drew with Don 'Red' Barry 200 lbs by PTS in round 10 of 10
- Date: 1934-10-03
- Location: Civic Auditorium, San Francisco, California, USA
- Referee: Toby Irwin
The San Francisco Chronicle agreed with the decision, feeling that Lewis showed poor judgement of distance in the bout, as he allowed Barry to rush in on him. Lewis did land short blows to the body, but tired in the late stages of the bout.
