Texas Tate beat Fred Fulton by DQ in round 1 of 10

Fulton floored Tate while coming out of a clinch. Club officials ruled the blow had been foul, but the referee warned Fulton and allowed the bout to continue. Near the end of the round, Tate was punched through the ropes into the crowd. Fulton was announced victor and then later last knockdown was ruled a foul and subsequently disqualified Fulton.
