• Date: 1922-11-17

Clickner had made a fairly good effort at out-boxing Carbone, until he was hit by a powerful right hand under his left eye. The blow sent Clickner to the canvas, and cut him badly under the eye. Clickner attempted to rise, but collapsed, and rose after the ten-count.
