    • "The contest was fought at a fast pace with very few clinches. The fight was enjoyed by a large crowd. Borrington appeared to have won, but the referee's verdict was a draw. Borrington soon had the Belgian in difficulties with heavy rights to the body, but he was unable to land a finishing blow. Sas fought cleverly and beat Borrington to the punch. Time and again Borrington had his opponent in difficulties, but the Belgian recovered to fight back fiercely and cleverly. In the eleventh round Borrington almost ended the fight with a right to the heart, but once more Sas recovered."
