• Chartrand came out very strong, wobbling White seconds into the fight with a right hand. However, White recovered and was able to walk down and overwhelm his quickly tiring opponent. In round 7, an exhausted Chartrand was wobbled by a counter hook, and dropped moments later by a left uppercut-right hand. Chartrand stayed down for the count.
• White lost a point in round 6 for aggressively shoving Chartrand. Moments later, Chartrand lost a point for hitting White after the bell.
