Fred Stoner (August 27, 1908 - November 1, 1981) was a boxing trainer from Louisville, Kentucky.

Stoner trained boxers at the Grace Community Center on Hancock Street in the Smoketown neighborhood of Louisville.

Muhammad Ali often trained with Stoner when he was an amateur. Ali said, "He taught me all I know."

Stoner worked Ali's corner when he turned professional in 1960.

Also in 1960, Stoner became the first African-American to be named to the Kentucky Boxing Commission.
