Fred Ziegler was a boxing manager and promoter out of Louisville, Kentucky. Ziegler initially worked as a manager, with one of his notable clients being Cecil Payne. In the mid-1930s, he succeeded Jimmy Dell as Louisville's top boxing promoter, promoting most of the shows in Louisville up until the start of World War II.
