Freddie Little 155 lbs beat Eddie Pace 155 lbs by MD in round 10 of 10

"Hard-hitting Freddie Little turned boxer last night to take a majority decision over Eddie Pace in their 10-round rematch at Convention Center. Little, 155, who has a reputation as a knockout puncher concentrated on a stiff left jab and quick right cross most of the bout to outpoint Pace, who weighed 154 3/4. There were no knockdowns in the bout, although Little almost had Pace down in the 9th round. Little had Pace staggered and reeling from powerful left hooks and rights to the head in the 9th round, but Little lacked the killer instinct and did not follow up again as Pace survived the round. Pace's left eye was almost closed by the end of the fight. He also suffered a slight cut over his left eye in the 1st round but Eddie came into the ring with it already heavily plastered with vaseline." -Las Vegas SUN

  • Pace's younger brother Candis also fought on this card, losing a six-rounder to Benito Juarez.
