"Cpl. Fritzie Zivic, former welterweight titlist from Pittsburgh, took an easy 10 round decision last night from Mexican welterweight champion Kid Azteca in their rematch at the City Auditorium. Azteca sagged for a nine-count early in the 1st round after Zivic grazed the Mexican's eye with a sharp right. Zivic took the subsequent rounds with ease. The bout was a rematch of the fight three months ago, in which Zivic won a disputed decision over Azteca." -United Press
