Bout Summary
Paez came out moving against Foreman, who pursued Paez behind a rangy left jab. Foreman pushed Paez to the mat midway through the opening round. Referee Tony Bosnich correctly ruled that it was not a knockdown. Later in the round, Foreman once again pushed Paez to the mat and received a warning from Bosnich. In the second round, Foreman was warned to keep his punches up and was again told to stop pushing.
Foreman pinned Paez along the ropes and unloaded a barrage of punches to the body and head, which caused Paez to take a knee midway through round two. He got to his feet at the count of seven. Foreman drove Paez back to the ropes and once again unleashed a barrage of punches to the body and head. Paez went down to both knees and did not get to his feet until after the referee reached the count of ten.
